[ 2004 - 2005 ]

Alrighty then, so I spent a year (2004-2005) living in Korea, teaching English in Seoul, and surviving the threat to thermo-nuclear war. If you want to read about my experiences from 2006 to 2007, you can find those HERE.

I've written a tonne about my experiences on my Teaching Blog, which has lots of witty stuff to read, so I'd head there if you want to find out about what it's like living and working 75 miles away from one of the worlds largest standing armies who's just itching to see if all their Russian-made nukes work.

This section is more about the (mainly drunken) photos that I took in Korea during 2004 to 2005.

Who are these people?

Below, in the order that I caught people, are the faces of the drunkards whom I ran around Seoul with.

A lot of people progressively left Seoul over my time there, so here's a tribute to the fallen; the ex-Seoulites. May they rest in Soju:

The Photos:

    Around Seoul
Some photos collected from around Seoul; Markets, celebrations, and big balls… no really!

   The Couple™
Just a few photos of Tina and I being the non-stop action couple. Oh yes.

    Seoul Grand Park
Loads of great photos from The Gang's trip to Seoul Land. Great fun and great photos.

    Ho-Ho-Holy Crap!
Back in December I dressed up as Santa for Barry's school. I had a great time although I think the kiddies might have guessed I wasn't the real deal.

    Julie's drinking photos
A selection of Julie's drinking photos from November

    November Drinking
A variety of drinking photos including Halloween and the Nanta-night-out

Weekend 16/17th October:
If you go down to the
  woods today…

…You'll find a bunch of drunk teachers camping in the woods. Well drunk at least, the woods have all been cut down.

Anyhow, 'twas another trip to get out of the big smoke to enjoy some clean air and dirty Soju.

Sunday 3rd October:
   Paintballing!
A great trip outta Seoul to run amok with a a paintball gun. Good to get that out of our systems before we decide to stroll into our Director's office with an Uzi.

   ADDITIONAL…
I've photoshopped some of the gangs photos:
  • Mira (11 photos)
  • Julie's Birthday (6 photos)
  • September BBQ (4 photos)

Saturday 21st August:
   Everland
A day out at Korea's version of Disneyland. Cutesy fun for all the family. And Sheepo merchandise everywhere!

Saturday 14th August:
   Big Booze up!
Loadsa great photos from the drinking. Peanuts anyone?

Saturday 7th August:
   BBQ
Had one at my pad which was a giggle. We ate, we drank, and Mira got trashed.

We got down and dirrrrty at the annual mud festival over on the east coast.
