Mongolia was the most Vodka fuelled
country I'd say, for it was certainly the coldest! -50 centigrade
is something that has to be experienced to be believed… Frozen
eyelids aren't fun.
Unfortunately
I was only able to spend a week in the country, half in the Capital
city Ulaanbaatar, and half living in a 'Ger' tent on the steppe.
Staying with the herders was amazing; the landscape is so immense
with huge snow covered mountains and limitless flat plains. I'd
love to visit again, but it has to be borne in mind that there really
isn't much to do! Just fermented yaks milk and vodka.
