Unfortunately I have no photos from this activity,
stolen or otherwise.
Now I've rafted in various places around the world
and it's certainly a laugh, but none have compared to the African
Grade 5 Zambezi River situated below the Victoria
falls (the same place i did the 111 meter bungy
and River Surfing).
The gorge is over 100 metres deep with huge rapids where if the
waves don't get you then the crocodiles in the shallows will.
It was pretty awesome and people really do get
hurt fairly often. The only problem I have though is that since
having tried it on 15ft waves, having a go on a pissy little Grade
3 hardly gets my heart going - Ohmygaaaard! he's so hard!
- No, that's not what I mean, but the Kiwi ones I tried were more
for the scenery than the thrill - See Extreme
Green's website here for photos of the rafting, or my New
Zealand page for great photos of the area.
