| Barry's school needed a Santa to hand
out presies to the kiddies, and I was told that I could make
a few extra bucks by helping them out, so I jumped at the
chance.
Unfortunately the boss of the school was not full of the Christmas
spirit and at the last minute declined to pay me any money.
I decided to do it anyway - I'd never been a Santa before,
and thought it'd be a great laugh.
In the end the kiddies were more confused than anything else.
"You Barry-teacher?" they'd ask whilst
trying to yank my beard, then Barry would come in and they'd
be wholly perplexed.
Once I started handing out presents they certainly cheered
up! I think everyone had a good time. I thought it was great.
A couple of photos of the event are below. I was going to
Photoshop them to sort out the crapness of my beard / suit,
but on reflection, I think seeing my dodgy facial hair through
the clip-on beard adds a certain humour to it!

I've got a list, I've checked it twice, and
I'm ready to scare the kiddies!
The kiddies are deeply impressed that the
real Santa has turned up…
"Have you been a good boy this year?"
"Well Santa, by the looks of this present, I'd say 'No' "
The resemblance is uncanny I'm sure you'll agree
Another happy child pauses for a photo with Santa.
Now that's a gift they'll treasure for ever.
One of the 3,234,285 classes at Barry's school
that I sat with.
No wonder the real Santa only does this stuff once a year!
Barry just couldn't resist having a bounce on Santa's
knee.
