Chusok and Lunar New Year are the biggest festivals
in Korea. Just like in the West, everyone travels to their home
towns to
fight with their relatives.
To soften the experience, they buy
gifts
for each other - sounds normal enough you might think - until
you realise what they like to give, that is…
The following photos were taken at my local supermarket,
but you can easily see similar scenes across the country.
For your interest: 10,000 Won ≈ US$10 ≈ £5

Now Spam is clearly the gift that keeps on giving,
but a Spam slicer… That's love!
Such a selection!
It's love at first bite!
Decisions, decisions…
Don't forget; it's not all about meaty
goodness - your loved ones
could do with some oral hygiene products
too
A canned bargain.
Spam's bastard twin: Luncheon meat
He goes for the Tuna!
You're never too young to desire canned goods
